Oprah Winfrey is set to stream conversations with the authors featured in her “stimulating book club” on Apple’s long-anticipated streaming TV service.

The media mogul was among those who hit the stage Monday during a presentation at the company’s headquarters in Cupertino, Calif, Variety reports. She was joined by influencers such as Steven Spielberg, Jennifer Aniston, Reese Witherspoon, Jason Momoa, Alfre Woodard, and Kumail Nanjiani.

Apple TV+ was the hot topic, with Apple CEO Tim Cook detailing the company’s new subscription platform for original television programming, which is slated to launch this fall in more than 100 countries, the report states.

“TV is more than just entertainment, it’s cultural,” Cook said. “TV at its best enriches our lives and we can share it with people we love.”

Spielberg announced the revival of his Amazing Stories anthology. Aniston, Witherspoon, and funnyman Steve Carell dished about their new drama The Morning Show. Meanwhile, Winfrey shared a few details about the two documentaries she has in the works for Apple TV Plus and she is planning “the most stimulating book club on the planet,” ajc.com reports.

She told the audience, “There has never been a moment quite like this one. We have this unique opportunity to rise to our best selves in how we use, and choose to use, both our technology and our humanity.”

Winfrey, who last year signed a television deal with Apple, also noted that “We have a unique opportunity to rise to our best selves in how we use and choose to use our technology and our humanity.”

She added,”I’m joining forces with Apple. They’re in a billion pockets, y’all.”

The new Apple TV app will be available in May and for the first time will be included on Mac computers. In the fall, the app will also hit Samsung, LG, Sony, and Vizio TVs, as well as Roku, and Amazon Fire TV devices, the report states.
