Producer, author, and motivational speaker DeVon Franklin announces a brand new deal with CBS TV studios to create new content for the silver screen.

Franklin is moving into new territory on television with the new overall look deal, Deadline reports. He is currently both president and CEO of the Franklin Entertainment production company which has a multi-year first-look film deal with Paramount Pictures and a second-look deal with Netflix.
According to Deadline, Franklin has enlisted former Juniper Place Productions exec Jenna Nicholson as VP Television to oversee the new deal with CBS TV Studios.
Most recently, for Disney/Fox, he produced Breakthrough which is an inspirational film starring Chrissy Metz, Topher Grace, Josh Lucas, Mike Colter, and Marcel Ruiz. Franklin also recently produced the Sony Pictures Animation film The Starring with Zachary Levi, Oprah Winfrey and Tyler Perry and Miracles From Heaven starring Jennifer Garner, Queen Latifah, and Eugenio Derbez.

Franklin Entertainment has several developing projects, according to Deadline, including Flamin’ Hot, the true story of the creation of Flamin’ Hot Cheetos, for Fox Searchlight. There is also Daring to Live for Paramount, the true story of four Black women who go on extreme adventures to overcome their greatest fears in life.
The producer and his famous wife actress Meagan Good have become influential in family and marriage spaces, co-authoring a book The Wait about their joint decision to abstain from sex until marriage. The guide gives advice to readers hoping to flourish in their own romantic life with faith-based instruction.
His spiritual identity is not only seen in his film work or multiple best selling books. Franklin uses his social media platforms to share Biblical scriptures, motivational quotes and stories, and holds prayer, oftentimes with his spouse.
