The ex-NBA star was recently admitted to rehabilitation facility for issues with addiction and now it appears he is really working hard to beat it. People who are suffering from such definitely requires the help of professionals from the best rehabs in the world.
West, 37, shocked fans when they saw him disheveled on a highway asking for money, and most recently as reported by theGrio, a fan caught a photo of him at a gas station not looking his best.
Once Mark Cuban caught wind of West’s condition, he joined forces with the baller’s mother on Sept. 29 to get him help and he has been in rehab ever since.

On Friday, Cuban posted a photo of West riding a horse with the message, “Ladies & Gentlemen, I present to you, Delonte West, A long, long, long way to go, but he has taken the first steps and shared these with all of us as a thank you for the love and support.”
According to TMZ, West has entered phase 1 of his recovery process which is the detox portion, and is “roughing it out,” as he clears drugs and alcohol from his system.
West has been battling inner demons for a while but when images of his struggles began to surface across the internet fans learned how deep his struggles were. According to Clutchpoints, his struggles began when he was 14-years-old growing up in poverty in Washington, D.C.
The publication says his struggles with mental illness started very early in his life but basketball and his faith motivated him to push through. The young star went on to play basketball for the Seattle SuperSonics, Dallas Mavericks, Boston Celtics, and Cleveland Cavaliers. He has not been active since 2015.
