What is the Honey Pot Company?
The Honey Pot Company is a feminine hygiene line built to cater to women’s feminine areas using plant-based ingredients. Its goal is to offer alternative feminine care products free from mass chemicals like sulfates, paraben, and carcinogens that disturb PH balance and can potentially cause long-term damage.
How did she fund the Honey Pot Company?
Funding her business was not easy as there were zero opportunities to land a venture capital investor. So, she started her company with the $21,000 loan she got from her brother and her co-founder, Simon Gray.
Years later, she brought the first product she ever made, the normal wash, to a popular hair show in Atlanta. There, she sold over 500 bottles within a week, projecting the success of her brand to the public. Within one year, her product was available on the shelves.
Today, the Honey Pot Company has grown from just one product, Normal Wash, to several feminine care products like pads, tampons, feminine wash and wipes, pregnant and lactating mother products, and a whole lot more.
However, she kept on working her full-time job while handling her company’s success. In 2017, she landed her first round of fundraising, allowing her to focus fully on her company.
To ensure many women suffering from the same medical condition she was once had get access to her products, Beatrice Dixon has ensured all Honey Pot products are available in all major stores like Walmart.
