Dwight Howard's new fitness video game revealed

THQ has taken a step into the fitness genre, and has recruited a team of athletes to get video game players moving. The publisher unveiled miCoach, at an event prior to this week’s Electronic Entertainment Expo in Los Angeles.

The motion-based fitness title for PlayStation 3 Xbox 360 features several professional athletes, including soccer star Kaka, tennis player Ana Ivanovic, Chiefs safety Eric Berry and Magic center Dwight Howard.

In an interview with Game Hunters, Howard says miCoach’s star power could help motivate players to exercise.

“You have the opportunity to be next to your favorite star,” says Howard. “It’s not like you’re creating an avatar. It’s actually you next to your favorite star. You’re doing the workouts that they do to get better.”
