Obama still struggles among white, lower-income voters

“Middle-class white voters who say they are struggling to maintain their financial positions chose Romney over Obama by a large margin — 58 percent to 32 percent,” reports the Washington Post.

Obama’s team must either figure out how to appeal to these voters or win the election without them, with Obama maintaining stronger numbers among minorities, women and voters under 30.

This data is not surprising; Obama struggled with this voting bloc in 2008 and still won.
