Commerce is alive and well on Inauguration Day

WASHINGTON D.C. — Call it “Obama commerce.” President Barack Obama’s second inaugural is in full swing in Washington, and so is the spirit of entrepreneurship.

Along the route to the inaugural, vendors selling every conceivable kind of Barack Obama merchandise — from Obama bags to pins, to Obama dollars — have their wares on display. And there’s plenty of foot traffic to keep their digital cash registers ringing.

Here’s a sample of what you can buy on the grounds of the National Mall today.
