Lord Jamar of legendary clique Brand Nubian has just unleashed a brutal diss track towards Kanye West, criticizing the rapper for his fashion choices with some overtly homophobic lines.
“With a blazer and dress, I’m just amazed at the mess/Pioneer of this queer sh*t is Kanye West,” he seethes. “Yeezy introduced the skinny jeans to the rap scene/Then wore a f**kin’ skirt on the video screen.”
Judging from these lines, we probably shouldn’t ask him what he thinks about A$AP Rocky wearing Alexander Wang’s latest garments.
While the influence of Brand Nubian on the rap game can’t be underestimated, Lord Jamar seems like he’s a little stuck in the past.
After all, not all of us can rock fitted caps, starter jackets and XXL white tees.
