Thomas Fuller is a single father raising an adolescent daughter in the Washington, D.C. area.
He’s an IT specialist furloughed by the federal government shutdown. He says that congress does not recognize the tremendous damage inflicted on personal lives by the furloughs because the House and Senate will continue to collect their salaries no matter what. He lamented the fact that every congressman who is against the Affordable Care Act is covered along with their families by a health insurance policy paid for with taxpayer dollars.
Does this make him angry? Almost to a point of wanting to get out and protest. He says something has to be done to tell congress no!
