When it comes to President Barack Obama, conservative businessman and reality star Donald Trump always find something to complain about.
Years after waging a very public (and arguably still ongoing) battle to expose the president as a non-American, Trump is attacking the president again, but this time because of his outfit.
President Obama didn’t wear a tie during his sit-down White House interview with Fox News host Bill O’Reilly before the Super Bowl, which according to Talking Points Memo, didn’t sit well with Trump.
“Let him put on a tie. Bill was wearing a tie,” Trump told the hosts of Fox & Friends this morning.” “Not that he has to follow Bill, but Bill was wearing a tie. He’s the president. It’s a formal position.”
“It’s sloppy. It’s not appropriate. It’s not presidential,” he added.
Co-host Steve Doocy later joked that Trump should send the president some of his customized neckties.
“You know, that’s a great idea,” he replied. “You just gave me a great idea. Right out of Macy’s, I’ll send them immediately.”
