Tim Scott honors past and present black senators for Black History Month

As Black History Month comes to a close, U.S. Senator Tim Scott (R-SC) decided he wanted the month to end with a “bang.”

On Tuesday, Scott organized a panel which brought together past and present black senators at the Library of Congress in Washington, D.C.

Scott, along with former U.S. Senator William “Mo” Cowan joined MSNBC’s Chuck Todd on the “Daily Rundown” to preview the event:

U.S. Senator Cory Booker (D-NJ) and former U.S. Senators Carol Mosley Braun (D-IL) and Roland Burris (D-IL) also attended Tuesday’s panel, entitled “Honoring our Past and Celebrating our Future: Discussing Personal Journeys and a Nation’s Progress with America’s Black Senators.”
