After a day of online criticism, BET publicly apologized for a joke about Beyoncé and Jay Z’s daughter Blue Ivy’s natural hair that was said on 106th & Park.
BET’s Executive Vice President of Music Programming and Talent, Stephen G. Hill, took to Twitter and in 4 tweets apologized to not only the Roc Nation clan but to guest host Karreuche,
(1/4) Last night on 106 & Park there was a stupid, unthoughtful joke made about a young child.

(2/4)We apologize publically to the child’s parents (and have done so privately) and we have taken punitive actions with those responsible.

(3/4)It was very bad judgment and we will serve you much better in the future.

(4/4) Oh, and please don’t hate on Karrueche; it was NOT her fault. We also apologize to her for putting her in that position.

Chris Brown’s girlfriend has been the prime target of the #Beyhive for the past 24 hours.
“I really did wake up like this, because my parents never comb my hair!” voiced Karrueche as Blue Ivy one day after MTV’s Video Music Awards where the 2-year-old stole the show.
