Fox News' Jesse Watters: If NYPD was racists, they would let blacks shoot each other

Fox News’ Jesse Watters has some strange ideas about what does and does not constitute racism.

In a discussion on The Five concerning the rise in tension between Mayor Bill de Blasio and the NYPD, Watters jumped in to explain why police officers aren’t racist:

Everyone is saying that the NYPD is racist. If the NYPD was actually racist, when someone called 911 from a black community, they just wouldn’t even go in. They’d sit there on the perimeter and let them shoot each other.

He didn’t stop there.

There’s some beef in Chinatown, and the NYPD goes to Chinatown and busts some Chinese guy, roughs him up, I don’t see all these Chinese guys out there on the streets protesting.

Watters also suggested that anyone protesting the deaths of Eric Garner and Michael Brown should stop looking to police to help them out and instead call Reverend Al Sharpton for help if their cars are stolen.
