This weekend, Kylie Jenner unexpectedly found herself in the middle of a social media controversy after posting some pictures from a recent shoot with photographer Marcelo Cantu.
Saturday, the 17-year-old Keeping Up With The Kardashians star posted some highly stylized pictures of herself with the caption,”What I wish I looked like all the time.”
She immediately received backlash from those who felt the pictures were just a high fashion version of blackface, and that Jenner — who has received much scrutiny for her newly enlarged lips — was again coyly attempting to look more African-American.
Soon, a debate ensued on social media, with people asking “Is this, or is this not blackface?”
In the midst of the drama, Jenner deleted the original posting and is now responding to all her dissenters.
so just got the time to head on social media lol.. The photographer used a black light & neon lights for those photos.
