President Barack Obama’s golf game is on point.
The president was on vacation in Hawaii when he allowed some pool reporters to take a peek into his personal life as he played a round of golf at the Mid Pacific Country Club.
Shortly thereafter, the president sank a 40-foot chip shot from off the edge of the 18th green, and he celebrated marvelously, reports The Guardian.
New York Times White House correspondent Julie Hirschfeld Davis, who was present when the amazing shot was made, posted about it afterward on Twitter.

“The president, wearing a grey golf shirt, dark shorts, a cap and a white glove on his right hand, took his position on the fringe about 40 feet from the hole, squatted down for a better view, then took a few practice swings before chipping the ball in,” Davis wrote in the Monday pool report. “A cheer went up when he made the shot, and POTUS raised both arms in triumph, then turned and pointed in your pool’s direction, in a ‘you-guys-saw-that-right?’ kind of a gesture, although he didn’t say a word.”

It’s a great way to start a vacation. The First Family will be in Hawaii until January 2 on vacation, and so this is likely not the last time we’ll see the president donning his golf gear and heading out to the club.
