With bullying and violence plaguing many schools throughout the country, Kanye West says he has a solution and starts with his hometown.
On Wednesday, TMZ caught Yeezy in New York City, where he was signing autographs in front of The Mercer Hotel.

They asked if he felt anything had been left out of his speech at this year’s MTV VMAs, and that’s when the rapper shared one idea about changing Chicago for the better.
“I wanna do school uniforms for all the schools in Chicago,” said Kanye. “Just as a starting point for ending classism and bullying worldwide.”
The 39-year-old rapper has hustled to build a reputation in the fashion industry and done some pretty outlandish shows, so designing uniforms wouldn’t be too left field.

According to the National Association of Elementary School Principals, school uniform policies have actually been on the rise in U.S. public schools, with some studies showing positive impacts on reducing peer pressure and bullying.
So, is Kanye onto something? Designing uniforms that sell as well as Yeezy sneakers? We might buy that.
