Recently, Cardi B claimed that she had been put in a chokehold by the NYPD, but she said that she didn’t want to talk to the cops about it, even to lodge a complaint.
While talking with Felisha Monet on WEDR 99 Jamz, Cardi B explained that she had gotten into an argument with another motorist after he hit the mirrors on her car.
She admitted that she started to hit his window and threw a bottle of water his way, saying, “I’m not gonna lie; I wasn’t being an angel.”
–Cardi B’s historic moment is a win for us all–
She claimed that she and the other motorist had both thrown around threats to “f*** you up” to each other, but when her cousin squared up with the man, she threw her shoe at him, only for the man to throw it right back.
That’s when she said she was put into a chokehold.
“Out of nowhere, a motherf***** put me in a chokehold,” Cardi B said, demonstrating for the audience how the officer had her “with my hand on my back like a chicken wing.”
“I couldn’t breathe, and I couldn’t believe it because there’s two men there about to square up [my cousin and the other motorist], and you’re so p***y, you won’t even hold back the men. You gonna put the female in the chokehold.”
“What bothered me the most is that, yes, the police have been calling me… they want me to talk about it … and I don’t really want to make a statement,” she said, claiming that she had never spoken with the police before and didn’t want to change that.
“Even if I did talk, are they even going to do anything about it?” Cardi B pointed out. “Most likely not. So why would I waste my time?”
