On Wednesday morning, former president Barack Obama reported for duty: jury duty.
Since Obama still has a place in Chicago, despite living in Washington, D.C., he was summoned for jury duty, and so he and his Secret Service attachment arrived in Cook County so he could do his civic duty.
While there’s no guarantee that Obama will actually be chosen to serve on a jury, he will be the county’s most famous potential juror this year.
But even if he is picked, he’ll be paid the same as everyone else: $17.20 per day.
Check out the pictures of the former president rocking the civic service look again.
