President Donald Trump isn’t happy about the growing Russia investigation, so he took to Twitter to blame Barack Obama.

“If all of the Russian meddling took place during the Obama administration, right up to January 20th, why aren’t they the subject of investigation? Why didn’t Obama do something about the meddling? Why aren’t the Dem crimes under investigation? Ask Jeff Sessions!” Trump tweeted on Wednesday morning.

It’s no secret that Trump hasn’t been happy with Attorney General Jeff Sessions since he recused himself from the Russia investigation. And he’s been clear that he believes the Russia investigation is a “deep state” conspiracy by the Justice Department and the FBI.

Trump also took to Twitter to quote Obama as saying of the Russian interference in the election: “There is no serious person out there who would suggest somehow that you could even rig America’s elections, there’s no evidence that that has happened in the past or that it will happen this time, and so I’d invite Mr. Trump to stop whining and make his case to get votes.”

Trump then tweeted, “That’s because he thought Crooked Hillary was going to win and he didn’t want to ‘rock the boat.’ When I easily won the Electoral College, the whole game changed and the Russian excuse became the narrative of the Dems.”

As usual the facts aren’t on Donald Trump’s side. President Obama imposed sanctions on Russia and kicked out 35 Russia diplomats, in addition to shutting down two of their compounds in the US, according to CNN.

That’s quite a bit more than Trump has done.

The latest tweet storm comes after the Department of Justice announced on Friday that a grand jury has now indicted 13 Russian nationals and three Russian entities for conspiracy to defraud the United States.

The grand jury, which was pulled together by special counsel Robert Mueller, is looking into the influence that Russia and Russian nationals had on the 2016 election. Mueller is also reportedly looking into any ties that the Trump campaign had with Russia and Russian nationals.
