There’s nothing quite like making a parent weep with pride, and this week R&B it-girl SZA got to share that special moment with the world.

Monday, one of the singer’s fans posted a video of her father, Abdul Mubarak-Rowe, singing along to Broken Clocks from his car, while rocking a white “CTRL The Tour” baseball cap.

“Every time I hear this song sweetie, I’m in tears,” he gushed to the camera. “I love this song by you — I love your whole album but this is one of my favorite songs.”

Not surprisingly, the heartwarming tweet quickly went viral, gaining more than 172,000 likes on the social media site within 48hrs.

“Really love u daddy,” SZA wrote in response the following day. “Thank u for loving ME! Forever my favorite warrior.”

The Love Galore singer is apparently extremely close to her family as evidenced by the nods of appreciation the singer gives to both her mother and grandmother throughout the 14-tracks of her latest album CTRL. In January, she even invited both matriarchs to be her dates at the Grammys.
