Black Twitter drags Taye Diggs for blaming Black women for his dating issues with white women

Taye Diggs is blaming black women for his dating woes saying he’s unlikely to date white women again because of how bad he got dragged by the black community.

Really, bruh?

Taye Diggs told The Red Podcast that he feels some type of way and has some resentment that runs deep for black women because of the backlash he received for being in an interracial marriage with singer Idina Menzel of Frozen fame.

He’s BIG mad saying:

“I don’t wanna say I suppress [the resentment,] but I just watch it.”

Even though Taye Diggs alludes to the fact that he feels resentment against black women he’s now saying he is attracted to sisters and has now opted out of dating outside of his race.

He added: “Even though you understand the logic, I don’t know if I can mess with a white girl now. I feel like I’ve had to deal with that so long its changed what I think I like, what I’m attracted to. It’s not where my eyes gravitate to naturally.”

Taye Diggs then went on to blame another black woman for his dating issues: his own mother!

“When I was 13, I was reading a magazine and there was a picture of a black woman and I said, ‘Oh, she’s pretty, I want to marry her.’ And my mom said, ‘Oh honey, you’re going to marry a white woman.’ It hurt my feelings but she was right,” Diggs said.

Of course Black Twitter wasn’t having it and took to Twitter to express their thoughts on Taye Digg’s relationship prospects.

One woman wrote:

Dearest #TayeDiggs, Do you know how many beautiful black Kings have come forward in Hollywood since “How Stella Got Her Groove Back?” Directors, actors, the entire #BlackPanther cast. Hey Winston, M’Baku. We don’t want you. You’re not welcomed in #Wakanda either.

Another wrote:

@TayeDiggs why do u & men like u always need to justify where u are in life by blaming black women? #TayeDiggs

Even a brother weighed in, posting:

Taye Diggs said hate from black women drove him away from dating white women. I’m crying. Don’t ever let a celeb tell you they don’t pay attention to their haters.
