Louisiana State University running back, Derris Guice sat down on SiriusXM’s “Late Hits” Wednesday night and detailed his experience at the NFL Combine, the scouting event for NFL prospects. Guice said several NFL teams asking him if he’s gay, and another even questioned if his mother was a prostitute. A report conducted by Pro Football Talk confirmed that Guice was, in fact, asked about his sexual preference. They did not divulge which teams asked the players, but it is known to be a common practice at the scouting event.

President Donald Trump made false claims that the majority of women voted for him in 2016. At an event in Philadelphia, the 45th president stated that 52% of women voted for him in the 2016 presidential election. The LA Times actually has receipts that prove the gross misrepresentation of Trump’s claim with this statement: Exit polls found he got 41 percent of the votes from women in the election, not 52 percent. The figure he cited—52 percent—only counts if you only count white women.

China Votes to End Presidential Term Limits
China’s parliament voted overwhelmingly to end presidential term limits. The move paves the way for President Xi Jinping to potentially stay in the office indefinitely. The country’s Communist Party justifies the legislation by saying it aligns the office of president with the other non-term limited title the president holds such as the head of the party and head of the military. Trump recently praised the idea of having a presidential office without term limits.

Evoni Williams works in a La Marque, Texas, Waffle House was saving her money to go to college before she was photographed helping a 78-year-old man cut his food into small pieces that he could chew. The act of kindness proceeded to go viral; receiving thousands of shares and likes. It also caught the attention of Texas Southern University who has now given Williams a $16,000 college scholarship to help her to study business management.
