Creating the Look
The Hollywood Beauty Awards is a show meant to recognize the architects of beauty in hair, makeup, photography and styling in film, TV and music, as well as those artists who create celebrity looks for the red carpet and editorial.
These unsung heroes in the beauty industry are the ones who make sure your faves look glamorous and “camera ready” at all times and very seldom get the praise they deserve for making flawlessness look so easy.
The Camille Friend hairstylist award is named after the amazing stylist who crafted the all-natural hairstyles in the global phenomenon known as Black Panther.
So this is kind of a big deal.

Whether he’s slaying Michelle Obama’s hair, getting Angela Rye right for an event, or sharing his red carpet predictions on theGrio, Johnny is not only a force to be reckoned with but also an amazing person to boot. We couldn’t think of a more deserving honoree.
Congratulations Johnny!
