It has been a while since Kanye West posed for a magazine cover but he and his daughter North and son, Saint, did just that for the latest issue of Harpers Bazaar. The controversial artist opened up about his hopes for his children in the magazine’s ICON issue.
“I hope my children never lose their confidence to society,” he says.

Kanye West isn’t the only famous face flaunting his beautiful family in the issue. Erykah Badu posed with her daughters inside the issue.
“I want my children to use their gifts in order to do service for others. That is, to make sure that their gifts are serving something bigger than themselves. And to do what I say,” she says.

Lionel Richie and daughter, Nicole Richie, also sat down for the spread.
“I wish for my kids to discover who they are and explore their passions to the fullest,” says Lionel Richie.
Mariah Carey and her twins are also included in the fifth annual ICON issue of the magazine along with Paris Jackson.
Carine Roitfeld put together the shoot photographed by Mario Sorrenti and revealed her reasons for assembling the star-studded lineup.
“I’m a very family-oriented person, so I wanted to meet the families of some of my biggest music idols,” she told WWD.
“It was amazing to see that some of the industry’s most groundbreaking rock stars have a sense of tenderness with their loved ones — even if they are adults.”
The issue hits newsstands on August 21.
