The dance team of Alabama State University called the Honeybeez is making waves because of a body positive JustDoIt Nike campaign, HBCUBuzz reports.

The Dream Crazier campaign sheds a light on stories of people who often don’t get their shine. And in the campaign, a group of curvy, plus-sized women from the Honeybeez are shaking their bootylicious bottoms and speaking about the dance platform that allows them to be who they are.

“Any dream is possible. If you just want this crazy dream to happen, you just have to put the work in.

“You know what some people consider a crazy dream? A body positive world. One that’s full of confidence. A world that’s dripping in self-love.

But that’s the “crazy” world that Montgomery’s Honeybeez are fighting for. #justdoit” the retail giant wrote.

In the video, the women say that the group is all about self-confidence, and self-love. They also say even that their commitment also includes working out and working hard.

“We sweat a lot,” one woman says in the video.

A woman in the video also said when she first joined the dance troupe, she was pushing 400 pounds and now she’s down to 294.

Another dancer in the video touched on not loving her skin color. She now credits her dance coach with helping her embrace her skin color and realize the beauty that is within her.

“Now everytime I look in the mirror I be like, ‘girl you so chocolate and cute,’” she shared.

The Nike campaign is about helping women find the magic within.

Just recently Nike rolled out a ‘Dream Crazier’ commercial narrated by tennis icon Serena Williams, which debuted during the Oscars.

The strong and empowering ads are a love letter to women.

“If we show emotion, we’re called dramatic. If we want to play against men, we’re nuts. And if we dream of equal opportunity, delusional,” the voiceover by Williams says in the ad.

“When we stand for something, we’re unhinged. When we’re too good there’s something wrong with us. And if we get angry, we’re hysterical, irrational, or just being crazy,” Williams continues. Footage flashes on the screen of legendary women in sports.
