Fans of Vivica A. Fox can catch her on two new TV shows, Lifetime’s hidden-camera reality series Prank My Mom and the syndicated scripted comedy Mr. Box Office.
In part one of theGrio’s interview with Fox, she weighed in on a hot political topic: Stacey Dash’s endorsement of Republican presidential candidate Mitt Romney.
“I don’t know why she [Stacey Dash] had to do a photo shoot in a Baywatch red swimsuit with the boobs and the whole flag behind her,” Fox said.
“And she doesn’t have a job or something to promote right now. I just didn’t get it. She’s entitled to her own opinion but it was just surprising that first of all she was a Republican, and that she did it the way that she did. Most politicians when you support them, you try to support them with class, you don’t need to do a swimsuit shoot.”
In part two of her interview, Fox says that she would consider running for public office in the future, specifically mayor of a city.
“I definitely could be in public service in the future and be a mayor or something like that. That would be fun,” Fox told theGrio’s Chris Witherspoon. “Because I am a stand up kinda chick, and I care about our communities and what happens, especially for “generation next.” We have to be leaders, and that would be a new chapter for me that would be fun.”
Fox also revealed which among her most-memorable on-screen roles, including Set It Off, Soul Food, and Independence Day she would consider doing a sequel to.
