The White House is hosting a forum called “50 Years Forward: Building Ladders of Opportunity” in anticipation of the 50th Anniversary of the March on Washington for Jobs and Freedom.
Discussions included a conversation with Senior Advisor to the President Valerie Jarrett and theGrio’s Managing Editor Joy-Ann Reid.
There will also be discussions with Attorney General Eric Holder, Secretary Shaun Donovan and a town hall Q&A with President Obama’s chief economic advisor Gene Sperling and domestic policy advisor Cecilia Munoz.
Topics of conversation will cover how far we’ve come as a nation and a look forward at how we can build on the progress made thus far.
