Victim of McDonald's beating arrested for carrying guns for 'attack on rival'

The 17-year-old girl who was filmed being viciously attacked during a Brooklyn McDonald’s fight last month has now been arrested for carrying two guns.

Friday, Elizabeth Ballinger was waiting in an East New York apartment lobby to attack a rival when her intended victim realized what was happening and called 911.

According to the New York Daily News, when police had arrived at the apartment, Ballinger dropped her purse and fled the scene. She was quickly found by police after jumping over a low wall and landing on a razor wire that sliced her buttocks and thigh. Police say the backpack she was carrying held an imitation pistol.

After Ballinger was cut free by NYPD Emergency Services, she was taken to Brookdale University Hospital for stitches, then charged with weapons possession, unlawful assembly and trespassing. Others who were in the lobby with Ballinger, including a 20-year-old man, a 14-year-old boy, a 14-year-old girl and a 13-year-old girl, are facing trespassing charges, police said.

On May 14th, Ballinger was viciously attacked at a McDonald’s on Flatbush Avenue. The video went viral and made her infamous, yet officials have no evidence that these two events are connected.
