With every favorite character, comes new memes and comparisons, and a Black Greek organization in Atlanta is no different.
The brothers of Alpha Phi Alpha fraternity at Georgia State University are the taking Black Panther fever to new heights.

According to Watch The Yard, the Alphas decided to put a fresh twist on their annual Miss Black & Gold Pageant. This year, it’s inspired by the world of Wakanda.
And the the special event is entitled “Wakanda PHorever!” (Get it?)
The photos taken of each contestant really has everyone on the internet fawning over the event and the beautiful contestants. Each contestant, made up in African-inspired clothing and hairstyles, are putting on their best Dora Milaje forward for the camera and it’s an effortless slay all around!

VizaHub, a creative design company owned by Camryn Bradley, an alumni brother of the Zeta Mu chapter, is responsible for the graphics and photography which follow similar guidelines and themes of the Black Panther promo package.
The twelve stunning contestants include Aderonke Adeyemi, Nicole Morris, Mikaiya Booth, Jaquila Butler, Sadiyah Al Nur, Maya Jenkins, Ladijah Bryant, Taylor Carmack, Bree Buxton, Geo Jenkins, Moya Leung and Seyi Fasan.

The Miss Black & Gold Wakanda-Themed Pageant will take place at Georgia State University’s Student Center Ballroom on Saturday, April 21.
And of course, Black Panther fever continues to sweep the globe. The Marvel blockbuster is expected to cross the $1 billion mark this weekend destroying the myth once and for all that Black movies don’t do well overseas. Analysts also predict that the Ryan Coogler helmed project will bring in $60 million at the box office in China this weekend!
