Issa Rae is a woman many talents and we’re soaking up knowledge thanks to her unscripted show, The Sip.
The Insecure star interviewed Diddy on Sunday for the show that has featured innovative content creators like Kenya Barris, Ava DuVernay, and Regina King.
Diddy shared a video on Instagram that shows the pair discussing topics ranging from his love for his family and representation of black folks in entertainment while the crowd danced and sipped on his Ciroq vodka. Diddy took time to praise Issa Rae and her hit HBO show, Insecure, during their enlightening conversation.
“In film and television, you know, there wasn’t enough people that looked like you to make us understand and believe that it was possible,” he said.
Rae shared a sweet snapshot of herself onstage with Diddy at the event on Sunday.

Diddy recently fell from the top spot on Forbes’ annual list of hip-hop’s top earners. He came in behind Jay-Z for the first time with $825 million for 2017. Still, the Bad Boy legend saw an increase of $5 million, believed to be a result of his vodka ventures and cable network Revolt. Even though he’s no longer No.1 when it comes to raking in the cash, he has an endless supply of money-making tidbits to share with fans.
