There’s no love lost between Reggie Bush and his ex-Kim Kardashian, but the retired NFL player admits that he doesn’t keep up with the reality star these days.

Bush opened up to Us Weekly at the Harold & Carole Pump Foundation Gala at the Beverly Hills Hotel on Friday, and although he doesn’t often talk about the Keeping Up with the Kardashians celeb, he did speak lovingly about her success.

“We don’t keep in touch,” he told Us. The two split in 2010 and back then A source told Us Weekly that Kardashian’s fame was “just a little too much for [Reggie] to handle.” Since then Kardashian’s empire has expanded beyond her reality show.

“She’s doing a great job creating a brand for herself, her and her family. I’m happy for ‘em … She’s very smart,” he said.

Sounds like Bush is not into burning bridges!

But why would Bush still be big mad over a breakup anyway?

In 2014, he married Lilit Avagyan and the two have a two children.

And Bush is also getting that paper. In June it was reported that following a severe knee injury in 2015, the former NFL running back was set to receive over $12 million, according to the St. Louis Post-Dispatch.

The knee injury took place three years ago when Bush was a running back for the San Francisco 49ers. In 2016, the now retired football player filed a lawsuit against the Los Angeles Rams.

The St. Louis Post-Dispatch reported that the Los Angeles Rams are ordered to pay Reggie Bush $4.95 million in compensatory damages and 7.5 million in punitive damages. The judge in the case found the Ramsto be “100 percent” liable.

Apparently Bush slipped on an unsafe surface after being pushed out of bound on a punt return, according to The Bleacher Report
