Singer and songwriter, Ashanti, had a successful career while she was signed with Murder Inc. Even though she is no longer with a label, the star is still growing and glowing and she is doing it all has an independent artist.
“It feels amazing to have the control,” says the 37-year old singer. “It’s a lot of work and just having so many people on your shoulders, depending on you, but it’s worth it.”
