The Oscars on Sunday will not only be without a host, but it will be missing Kendrick Lamar and SZA.

Jussie Smollett pleads innocent to ‘Empire’ castmates, legal team releases statement

The duo collaborated on the best original song nominee “All the Stars” from Black Panther but their absence means the best original song nominee will be the only one not to be performed at this year’s awards.

Insert a collective sigh right here.

The issue is timing. Lamar is in Europe and didn’t think he could pull off a memorable performance in enough time, Variety reports.

So “All The Stars” is off the menu on Sunday, but expect knock-out performances of the other contenders.

According to Variety, The Academy previously announced that Jennifer Hudson will be performing the nominated song “I’ll Fight,” written by Diane Warren for the documentary RBG; Bette Midler will perform “The Place Where Lost Things Go,” written by Marc Shaiman and Scott Wittman for Mary Poppins Returns; Gillian Welch and David Rawlings will perform their song “When a Cowboy Trades His Spurs for Wings” from The Ballad of Buster Scruggs; and Bradley Cooper and Lady Gaga will perform “Shallow,” written by Gaga, Mark Ronson, Anthony Rossomando and Andrew Wyatt for A Star Is Born.
