Grammy-nominated rapper Rick Ross is set to release his memoir titled Hurricanes this fall. The autobiography will focus on the music mogul’s life growing up in Miami and his rise to stardom.

According to Entertainment Weekly, the book will be co-written with Neil Martinez-Belkin and will be published by Hanover Square Press. Martinez-Belkin collaborated with rapper, Gucci Mane on his autobiography entitled, The Autobiography of Gucci Mane.
“My story has always been deeper than rap,” Ross said in a statement. “With this book I wanted to go deeper than I ever have. I wanted to tell people about the life of William Leonard Roberts.”

Hurricanes will provide the inside scoop on Ross’ evolution, including trials and tribulations he has endured throughout his life.
“Most people know Rick Ross as a global icon, but few are familiar with his origin story,” said, Peter Joseph, Editorial director of Hanover Square Press.
“Hurricanes transcends the conventions of celebrity memoir to offer an intimate and inspiring portrait of an artist who at every turn defied the odds and continues to change the game.”
The memoir’s synopsis is provided below:

Hurricanes is scheduled to be released Sept. 3. It is currently available for pre-order purchases.
