Former White House aide Omarosa Manigault believes President Trump is fighting for his spot as the best reality television star and not the best president.
According to Raw Story, Omarosa — who typically goes by her first name — stopped by MSNBC’s Hardball, where she evaluated her former boss and Apprentice co-star’s tweets. Her assessment was that President Trump is “unstable and he really should not have access to the nuclear codes.”

Show host Chris Matthews asked Omarosa what Trump’s problem is with late Arizona Sen. John McCain. She described Trump as “obsessed with McCain, he is obsessed with him because he’ll never be the hero McCain is.
“What we are watching is the third season of the Trump reality TV show. And what happens in the third season is you turn the hero into the heel, and you have a plot twist, and he keeps repeating these themes over and over again,” she explained. “And it’s going to get more and more bizarre because he’s not trying to become the best president, he’s trying to be the best reality star. And that’s what we’re seeing in this bizarre behavior from Donald Trump.”
Having first appeared in 2004 on the first season of The Apprentice and the “All-Star Celebrity Apprentice” in 2013, Omarosa is no stranger to Trump, nor she to him, as she was picked to be the administration’s assistant to the president and director of communications for the Office of Public Liaison. She was fired in December 2017.

Last August she told TheGrio that she didn’t accomplish all that she wanted to do while she was working in the White House.
“I was too close to him to really see what he was doing and in a lot of ways I missed the mark in terms of having an opportunity to impact him a little more,” she said. “[People] thought that I was complicit with every single decision that he made and that wasn’t always the case…To get up at the table by most of these white men, and then to walk out and try to go to my community and get the push back that I got. I didn’t realize it until after I left the White House, just how heavy of a burden that was.”
Her book, “Unhinged: An Insider’s Account of the Trump White House” was also released last August.
