Because even dead people like John McCain and now apparently Harriet Tubman can piss Donald Trump off from the other side, the petty President has reportedly axed plans to make the fearless freedom fighter the new face of the $20 bill.

Maxine Waters says she will not lay off Trump despite Mueller report

Tubman would have become the first Black woman to be featured on US currency, but the project, which began during the Obama administration, has stalled since Trump took office.

In fact, in 2018, he backtracked, saying maybe it won’t come to fruition at all, The NY Daily News reported.

“We haven’t made any decisions as to whether we’ll change the bill, or won’t change the bill,” he said during a January 2018 onstage interview, CNN reported.

In 2016, The New York Times reported that Tubman will “replace the slaveholding Jackson on the center of a new $20 note.” POLITICO reported that Jackson was “likely” to remain on the back of the $20 bill.

Clearly Trump has no respect for the leader of the Underground Railroad, but there’s one Black woman who won’t let up or allow him to continue his antics and that’s Rep. Maxine Waters.

The California Democrat who has been one of the president’s most vocal critics, said on The Sunday morning political talk show, AM Joy, that even though the much anticipated report by Special Counsel Robert Mueller is alleged to call for no indictments, she has no plans to lay off Donald Trump.

“He’s been saying ‘no collusion, no collusion, no collusion’ over and over again for a long time now and he’s going to try and conclude that this report is proving that there’s no collusion and you have a lot of his sycophants who will take the nod from him and they’ll say the same thing, but we cannot allow them to get away with this,” Waters continued. “He does this all the time. This is not the end of anything.”

Keep pressing on in the spirit of Harriet Tubman Rep. Waters!
