After Dr. Dre caught heat in these internet streets for bragging that his daughter was accepted into USC without bribes, seemingly forgetting his $70 million donation to the prestigious university, another social media post is raising questions.

Dre took to Instagram to praise his daughter, Truly Young, for getting into the University of Southern California all on her own, on the heels of the scandal involving Hollywood stars Felicity Huffman and Lori Loughlin, who allegedly paid a consultant to get their less qualified children into elite colleges.

“My daughter got into USC all on her own. No jail time!!!” posted Dre.

Dre’s post has since been deleted but they were captured by People.

However, the internet reminded the Beats mogul that he and music industry mogul Jimmy Iovine gifted $70 million to the school in 2013 to create the USC Jimmy Iovine and Andre Young Academy for Arts, Technology and the Business of Innovation.

And now, an old post by Truly reveals that it was her dad who was urging her to attend the school, Yahoo reports.

“Dad pushing me to go to USC,” Truly, 18, wrote on Instagram in a May 2018 post posing with her famous dad. Truly was accepted into USC’s coveted School of the Cinematic Arts.

“ALL MY HARD WORK PAID OFF. I’M GOING TO FILM SCHOOL,” she wrote on her Instagram story.

Sounds like dad Dre wanted his seed to benefit from the fruits of his labor over at USC!

Realizing that joking about an admission scandal when he himself shoveled boat loads of money into the same school was perhaps a bad idea, Dre deleted the post praising his daughter for her acceptance. And so did Truly.

In all fairness, there has not been any evidence to suggest that the donation was a consideration for her admission.
