Tamar Braxton’s relationship with her Nigerian boo seems to be going strong and the singer tells PEOPLE that her sometimes ornery family members love him so.

“They love him. He is really kinda hard to not love,” she said gushing. “He’s a great guy, comes from a great family. Has great morals. He loves my son to pieces.”

Braxton said she’s dating a Nigerian man who is in finance and he’s very much into her and hasn’t been caught up in the ugliness of social media because he doesn’t have any accounts.

“He’s not on social media. We just have a regular, amazing relationship,” she said.

As for her Braxton Family Values WeTV show, Braxton said her new beau won’t have much on-screen time because she still wants to keep the relationship close.

“You won’t see a whole lot. Only because I’m not really ready to divulge everything. It’s new. New,” She said adding emphasis. “I just kinda wanna keep it to myself as long as I can.”

Braxton who is still waiting for her divorce from Vincent Herbert, to be finalized is open to tying the knot again.

“If I was asked, I’d have to think about that,” she said when the hosts PEOPLE TV asked if she’d want to get married again.

Braxton joked saying marriage was “definitely not off the table with T’Challa,” referring to her boyfriend as the lead character in Black Panther.

Braxton said she plans to visit her boyfriend’s native land of Nigeria soon.

“I’m looking forward to going. It’s his mom birthday celebration and I think I might have some things to do.”

As for her new man’s ability to adjust to fame, Braxton said he rolls with it.

“He’s definitely adjusting but he’s not like a television person. He’s in finance. He’s cool in his field.”
