Multiple shootings in Florida has officials desperately searching for the killer who gunned down two sisters who were innocent bystanders at the scene of a horrific crime.
Miami-Dade police say Stephanie Telusme, 27, and her 23-year-old sister, Joanna, were killed after they were shot when gunfire erupted near Northwest 19 Avenue and 60 Street early Sunday morning, CBS reports.
Their cousin Terry Silien said the women were just visiting with a friend and planned to go out for a night on the town.

“They weren’t even the ones who were targeted. They were innocent bystanders,” Silien said. “It’s just a sad unfortunate situation right now that my family has to go through and have to bury two young ladies,” he continued.
“They were just out to enjoy a Saturday night and this happened,” he said. “They were here to visit friends.”
Two other people were hospitalized as a result of the drive-by shooting, according to investigators. Robert Allen, 30 and Jennifer Charles, 24, were shot and taken to Jackson Memorial Hospital’s Ryder Trauma Center in stable condition, Miami-Dade police say.

Juan Perez, the Director of Miami-Dade Police, said Monday the case has taken top priority.
“I have two daughters of my own. This case is of ultimate importance and I can’t imagine the mother and father’s grief knowing that their daughters lost their lives for nothing being caught up in a crossfire. I can’t even imagine what they are going through and the grief they share. So that’s why I am out here appealing to the community and asking for help. I wanted to spark up some interest in this and I am so grateful that you are here doing this story. Because anytime we accept the horrific gun violence this can be the result and so I am asking that people come forward.”
Around 1:30 a.m. Sunday, police got a ShotSpotter signal and tried to stop a vehicle fleeing the scene. The driver abandoned the car and ran on foot. Three men were eventually found and detained, however, two of them were let go. The other was charged with possession of marijuana. There are still no suspects in custody connected to the shooting crime.
A GoFundMe page has been set up to help the family with funeral expenses for the sisters.
There is a $3,000 reward being offered and anyone with information can call the Miami-Dade Crime Stoppers line at 305-471-TIPS.
