Every once in a while Mathew Knowles, blesses us with a fun fact or unknown tidbit from his years managing Destiny’s Child, now he’s coming forward with claims that members of 90s R&B group Jagged Edge, “harassed” his daughter Beyonce and her bandmate Kelly Rowland when the women were still minors.

Tuesday, during a sit down with Vlad TV, the music manager revealed that two members of the Atlanta-based boy band had a habit of acting inappropriately around the two women when they were only 16 years old.

He specifically recalled an incident that took place in the later 90s while Jagged Edge and Destiny’s Child were touring together, and sharing the same bus.

“Now, remember the girls are minors: They’re 16-years-old, the guys are 21- and 22-years-old,” said Knowles, 67, who is currently promoting his new book, Destiny’s Child: The Untold Story.

“I got a call from Kelly and Beyoncé … saying that they were constantly being harassed by two of the members in Jagged Edge,” he continued. “I couldn’t have that. I literally had to put the guys off the bus in Baton Rouge, La.”

Knowles said he chose to respond quickly not just as a father but also as a legal guardian, noting, “I have a fiduciary duty with minors, by the law, there’s a certain way I have to manage that.”

When was asked how he did feel about the altercation from the perspective of a father he tactfully sidestepping the inquiry, responding, “We won’t talk about that on camera.”

Knowles chose not specify exactly which two members of Jagged Edge he was talking about, but said that incident “began all of this drama” which led to former Destiny’s Child members LaTavia Roberson and LaToya Luckett getting new reps and ultimately leaving the group in 2000.
