A top publicist claims a white actor attempting to attend an Art Basel festival called her ‘N****r B***h’ after he was thrown out.
According to Page Six, Thursday, Tayo Otiti prohibited Fabian Basabe (who appeared on E!-show “Filthy Rich: Cattle Drive”) from entering Artist Mickalene Thomas’ “Better Nights” show at the Bass Museum during the annual South Beach arts festival.
“The room is at capacity … People have to leave for me to let people in,” Otiti told the publication about the packed event where Jody Watley was performing.

Basabe pulled some strings to get a museum honcho to let him in, but unfortunately he ended up “pissing off a bunch of people inside,” Otiti recalls. “When he’s leaving, he starts screaming at the top of his lungs, ‘peasant,’ ‘whore,’ ‘b*tch’ at me … When he’s 50 yards away, he screams, ‘F–k you [N-word] b*tch,’” she said.
The PR pro took to Instagram to share her frustrations about the incident, writing, “I was just called a [N-word] peasant bitch and whore by Fabian Basabe — the flaming piece of s–t racist garbage.”
But Basabe, has since reached out to Page Six to deny the allegations, responding, “There aren’t two sides to this.” He then went on to explain that he contacted a museum board member to help him get into the party in order to, “avoid drama.”
“I called my friend … I was dancing with everybody — the waitresses, the bartenders. I don’t mean to be full of myself, [but] people genuinely love me,” continued Basabe who admits to insulting Otiti without being racist.

“No argument whatsoever,” he maintains. “In passing, I said, ‘nice try, peasant.’ I 100 percent said it and will apologize for it. But she’s using the N-word and ‘whore’ to rally support … It is deeply upsetting and not true for her to use these trigger words.”
He then noted he has famous friends of color, “I just had in my home, Cuba Gooding Jr. . … praying with my kid! I just had George Foreman in my home just this past week … It’s truly unfair.”
