“Family Matters” star Darius McCrary is embattled in some pretty serious legal drama with his ex-wife, who has accused him of physically abusing their 2-year-old baby girl, Zoey.
According to court documents obtained by The Blast: Tammy Brawner claims McCrary went on the radio and stated that she has coached their daughter to lie and say, “dada hurt her.’”
Brawner also alleges that back in March, McMcrary “partially dislocated our daughter’s arm,” and provided medical records that describe the injuries in detail.
At the time, she told doctors that her ex grabbed Zoey’s arm as he was taking her to the bathroom. McCrary, however, claimed he simply grabbed one hand to lift his daughter, but then immediately grabbed the other.
The doctor’s report noted the child was in pain and “cried when attempting to move the arm.”
“I cannot co-parent by myself,” Brawner reportedly stated in the documents. “I have gone above and beyond to parent with Mr. McCrary but he appears to be too bitter and too much of a tyrant to parent with me.”
According to TMZ, Brawner filed for divorce from McCrary in March 2017, citing irreconcilable differences and safety concerns for Zoey. She also requested that McCrary be ordered to “attend alcohol/drug abuse and batterers’ intervention classes,” PEOPLE reported.
