Famed music producer Damon Dash is tackling his child support troubles head on in a video where he also lashed out at the mothers of his children as he tried to explain why he has to turn himself in to the New York City Police Department after a warrant was issued for his arrest.

The former Roc-a-fella music mogul says that he has met his child support obligations and doesn’t believe he owes nearly $400,000 to the mothers of some of his children. There’s Cindy Morales, who is the mother of his son, Lucky; and his ex-wife, Rachel Roy, with whom he shares daughters Ava and Tallulah, TMZ reports.

Dash said he’s paid both women their fair share of child support and cited a home he says he bought Morales for $150,000. He also said that Roy gets her child support payments directly from Dash’s share of the clothing company he co-owns with her. He claims she writes her own checks for her child support payments.

Dash ranted saying that the warrant is messing with major industry moves he’s trying to make. He even claims to have missed the funeral of Aunt Linda, who happens to be his cousin Stacey Dash’s mother, because of his child support troubles. Dash even said he’s willing to do jail time if it means all of this will be rectified and goes away.

Time to say I’m sorry

Making amends is something Dash has been doing more than usual as of late. He recently posted a video apologizing to Jay-Z and Jim Jones, who he previously had beef with until recently.

“I’m chilling I been minding my own business, I have no beef with anybody,” said Dash in the video. He then goes on to apologize to each man directly. “So JAY-Z if I’ve offended you, I apologize. Lyor Cohen if I offended you I apologize. Steve Stoute if I offended you I apologize. […] It’s cool, I’m not angry no more.”

In a follow-up video, Dash also issued apologies to Jim Jones and Kareem “Biggs” Burke.

“You know, I called Jim Jones today, and I miss him,” he said. “I don’t know if y’all know but I miss him. As a brother, I love his family. I want him to be happy. And Jay, you know, the friendship we had was cool, man. I just miss it. But whatever you doing you doing I’m cool with it bro. I’m sorry man, I wasn’t myself for a second you had me f*cked up. And Biggs I’m sorry bro, if I offended you, whatever you doing I’m with it, I love you man. I know you’re mad at me but whatever, I can admit it.”

In case you missed it, Dash and Jones started beefing in 2014 when Jones called him a “culture vulture.”

Let’s hope Dash finds some peace and clears up his child support payments before it gets really ugly between he and his exes.
