Ross will be joined by Regina King, Alfre Woodard and Sanaa Lathan to give the beloved 1980s sitcom a brand new take on Tuesday night during the first installment of The Zoom Where It Happens, a partnership that will spotlight the work of Color of Change, the leading civil rights organization in the country.
Lena Waithe is set to host the virtual watch party for the special that is helmed by The Old Guard director Gina Prince-Bythewood.

If the photo in Ross’ post is any indication, it looks like she’ll take on the role of Rose, King will play Dorothy, Woodard will be Sophia, and Lathan will give us her best Blanche.
We can’t wait to see what this talented team of Black women cooks up for this incredible idea. We’ll certainly be tuning in to the one-night event Tuesday at 9/8c.
