The fourth annual Academy Museum of Motion Pictures gala and fundraiser took place on Saturday, Oct. 19, and it would seem everybody’s stylist understood the assignment.
Stars of a wide range descended upon the dreamy red carpet at LACMA West in Los Angeles, dripping in showstopping modern Hollywood glamour; especially some of the biggest names in Black Hollywood. From Kerry Washington in a sweeping hi-low black and white gown to Da’Vine Joy Randolph in a blush rose satin tulle dress to Cynthia Erivo in a “Wicked” green-inspired strapless brocade dress, the ladies didn’t come to play. The men cleaned up as well. John Legend, RZA, Jaden Smith, Colman Domingo and more arrived in classy riffs on the tuxedo.
